Kaluki are throwing a party at Digital in Newcastle in February and guess what? You’re all invited (provided you give them some money to get in).

Kaluki was formed in a Manchester basement in 2006 as one of the final raves at the historic Sankeys Soap nightclub. And ever since then it has delivered parties right across the UK with guests making waves right now – be it proven heavyweights or future stars of the electronic music scene. And for their Newcastle knees-up they’ve roped in DJ Mag Best of British award winner Darius Syrossian (pictured) whose Do Not Sleep parties at Space Ibiza are the stuff of legend. Also along for the ride is wAFF, one of the most engaging artists on the international circuit; and Manchester duo Pirate Copy, who prefer a DIY approach when it comes to making raw, innovative dance tracks. Expect a night of house, tech house, techno and minimal techno, straight out of the top drawer.

Kaluki: Darius Syrossian, wAFF & Pirate Copy, Friday 16 February, Digital, Times Square, Newcastle, 10.30pm-4am, £13.50. skiddle.com
