trumpdepression.jpg It’s The Trump Depression Hotline!

Reverend Billy & The Stop Shopping Choir – New York’s award-winning wild anti-consumerist gospel shouters and earth loving urban environmental activists – are coming to Newcastle to spread the word.

If you’re concerned about a world rife with global advertising, multinational control, climate change, the threat of nuclear war, supermarket domination and all the constant controversy caused by the US President’s outpouring, then this is for you. If you’re not, this REALLY is for you. The Church of Stop Shopping is a New York based secular political religion founded in 1999 and they’ll be dishing up a night of humour, great music and unshakable belief. Should be kind of amazing.

Trump Depression Hotline Tour, Sunday 22 October, The Blackfriars Ouseburn Cinema, St Vincent’s Community Centre, New Bridge Street, Newcastle (near Tanners pub), 7.30pm, £4.50-£9.50 (under 12s free) wunderbar.org.uk/revbilly
