Hey! Wanna dance with somebody? Wanna feel the heat with somebody? World Headquarters’ main mover and groover Tommy Caulker is holding a special, early evening event, at Wylam Brewery on the Bank Holiday Sunday in August.

Clubbing events kicking off at 11pm or midnight – who needs that? When I’ve got itchy feet I want to get down to it from, say, 7pm, which is why I’ve been on cloud nine since I heard about the Like We Used To Social coming to the lovely Wylam Brewery in Exhibition Park. On the decks will be the most block-rockingest DJ to ever ply his trade in Newcastle, Tommy Caulker, who will be thrilling us with the finest in soulful, funky and disco classics (I’m sure Donna Summer – pictured – will get an airing at some stage during the night), delivered gimmick-free, along with a load of other proper dancefloor winners, the kind of which Tom has played down through the years at Rockshots, Club Afrika, The old WHQ, and WHQ as it is today. His brief is to make the venue Floorfiller Central, so get set for an evening that will feature only the good stuff.

Like We Used To Social, Bank Holiday Sunday 27 August, Wylam Brewery, Palace of Arts, Exhibition Park, 7pm-12pm, £6. Tickets: https://www.welovewhq.com/event/the-like-we-used-to-social/
