The internationally renowned M6 Theatre Company are bringing Mavis Sparkle, their magical production of wonder and discovery, to the Arts Centre in Washington this February. Kids! Get excited!

Enchantment is the name of the M6 Theatre’s Company’s game and their latest cosmic show is pulling out all the stops with its mix of illusion, captivating performances and animation that has been specially created for children aged 4+ and their families. It concerns Mavis, and her cleaning trolley full of secrets and surprises, who is moving even closer to making her dreams come true. All she needs is a little help from her cheeky cuckoo clock (is there any other kind?), mischievous mop bucket and Spike the hedgehog, to journey north and see nature’s biggest light show with her own eyes. The show is underscored by an original soundtrack composed by Tayo Akinbode who has worked with numerous companies including the RSC, the National Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe. It’s going to be good.

Mavis Sparkle, Friday 24 February, Arts Centre Washington, 11am & 2pm, £6.50 (£22 for family of four). artscentrewashington.co.uk
