This isn’t music lessons…

Raising The Bar is an opportunity for 16-19 year olds to have fun while learning about music from some of the region’s friendliest music professionals.

Completely free of charge this scheme is perfect for people who want to meet new people, learn some new skills and improve their chances of getting into college or a job with a musical bent. No musical experience is necessary; everyone will be given expert help – whether you’re brand new to music or you have some skills already. Parts of the project will focus on technology and business skills, so even those with no previous interest in music will find something to excite them. It’s taking place at The Cave in the Tyne Dock area of South Shields (note: not an actual cave) which is only five minutes walk from Chichester Metro. More info from the contacts, below.

Raising The Bar runs every Thursday (except holidays), 10am-3pm. More details from Daniel Clifford: 0191 427 8193;  dclifford@customshouse.co.uk
