thesuggestiblespanto.jpg The Suggestibles go panto

We’d love to be able to tell you what The Suggestibles’ Impro Pantso is all about, but they don’t have a clue themselves... Gird yourselves for sheer theatrical anarchy (of a comedic nature).

Any children reading this, stop now; this is not for you. The Suggestibles’ Impro Pantso show is most definitely for adults only, but has no script or score, and will be entirely improvised by the legendary local troupe who will also be calling on help from special guests from Whose Line Is It Anyway, London’s Comedy Store Players and Paul Merton’s Impro Chums. They’re taking over the set of Northern Stage’s Grimm’s Fairytale for a couple of nights before decamping to their spiritual home for an evening (The Cumberland Arms – replete with mulled wine and mince pies) for three very different shows that are set to feature oodles of off-beat characters, daft sing-a-longs and wildly spontaneous plot twists - all suggested by the audience. As unexpected treats go this Christmas they’ll not come any better than this, because with The Suggestibles, the unexpected comes as standard. (Pic: Photosbybish)
