Food & Drink Restaurants & Cafés
Boho One is where you’ll find many of Middlesbrough’s digital media, digital technology and creative sectors and many of the workers flock to this place providing, as it does, top notch light meals and great coffee.
Whole Latte Love
7 Bridge Road, Stockton-on-Tees
The conveyer belt means dishes are available immediately and the surroundings are equipped for speed. Taps on tables dispense fizzy and still water. And should you need to communicate with a member of staff you can call them using a handy buzzer. YO Sushi! is about seeing, grabbing, eating, leaving. Not everybody's idea of a fantastic meal out but certainly appealing to harried shoppers and time strapped office workers.
Zapatista Burrito Bar
This joint serves up quick and cheap Mexican grub. They use fresh, locally sourced ingredients and the best cuts of meat, and the results – including their burritos, tacos, nachos, salad bowls etc – are mouth wateringly good.
Another Asian Fusion affair, Zen also certainly isn’t the cheapest restaurant in Durham but it could well lay claim to being the best. Offering up everything from Asian-style tapas to sirloin steaks, the restaurant boasts an impressive range of food and equally impressive décor. The drinks selection is more than respectable, too.
Like most Italians, Zizzi serve up an array of pizza and pasta dishes, but unlike most Italians, these particular dishes are their own speciality. Mouth-wateringly good and the open plan split level design creates a buzzy atmosphere.
