Crime authors Fiona Barton and Lesley Kara will be discussing their new novels with their crime expert. Fiona is know for her bestselling series featuring Kate Waters and Detective Inspector Sparks. Her new novel The Suspect takes Kate to Thailand. Lesley Kara's debut novel The Rumour is already causing a stir in the crime writing community. There will be a Q&A session and a signing after the discussion.

A Wild Life - the story behind the book with David Williams

The bespoke coffee table book – “A Wild Life” – came about from a lucky accident of timing when the late Sir Anthony Milbank took a shortcut through the Witham Hall while I had a photographic exhibition taking place there. The resulting conversation led to a project that lasted some 2.5 years. This talk will cover various aspects of how this coffee table book came to be published. While including images from the book, it will also go “behind the scenes” for images that did not get selected and briefly cover some technical aspects of its production.
