The Shed, Whistle Art Stop
The programme of events, workshops and exhibitions in the SHED is delivered by a team of graduate artists. We are based at Scarth's Yard, Haltwhistle (opposite Barclays Bank) where we run workshops and provide space for artists to work from.

An exhibition of textile art inspired by the art and architecture of Syria. The aim of this exhibition is to show the wealth of art from Syria’s World Heritage Sites which cannot be accessed due to conflict. The objects in this exhibition show a variety of styles and themes it is not political just come along and enjoy the art.

The Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade’s Watch House Museum, originally built to serve as a headquarters and look-out station for the rescue team, houses a unique collection of many interesting objects associated with shipwrecks and lifesaving.

Westside Contemporary Fine Art Gallery
Having served faithfully for nearly a decade, feeling that their quirky friend, Fifiefofum is no longer appropriate to their current endeavours to effectively promote fine art both inside and outside the north east. They have therefore reverted to the original name of the site on which the gallery is situated - Westside. They have then given Westside a modern twist, adding Contemporary, so that the gallery is now known as Westside Contemporary.
